Lakewood Historical Society holds annual fall sale October 8 and 10

The Lakewood Historical Society is holding its fall sale on Thursday, October 8, and Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, at the Haber Center, the Society’s headquarters at 13314 Detroit Avenue.

The Society says the sale will have fall and Halloween decorations, artwork and housewares. Its sales are stocked with donated items and raise money for the Society, which also runs the Nicholson House and the Oldest Stone House museum.

The fall sale is one of three the Society holds each year. The others are a Holiday Sale in early December and a Sale on the Grounds each May at the Nicholson House, held for the 38th time this year.
